A comission for a friend (in Japan) who will be using the design as a window etch for his computer case.
A remastering of the original Hokusai print with a more minimalist take. I relined over the original, negating the boats and spray. And I extended the original image to change it's ratio a bit. Then all shading elements were reworked.

All work done in Paint Shop Pro 5.

wow this is great, and weird thing is. This is the wallpaper on my cell phone. it's was one of the wallpapers that came standard on my phone.
